The Jungle Face Inn was like staying in a magical treehouse. The room was clean, the family was lovely, and the breakfast was an absolute feast. Definitely the fanciest room I've had in Sri Lanka.
Oh, and let's not forget the delightful sounds of the jungle at night. Who needs a good night's sleep anyway?

such a beautiful property - feels like a tree house in the jungle. the room is large and beds are comfortable. the breakfast - cooked by the lovely host family - is the best in Sri Lanka. the owner even helped book a cheaper taxi to Uda.
Would be happy to recommend Jungle Face Inn.

I stayed at a hotel with bikes, a garden, a terrace, and a restaurant. I felt so fancy riding a bike in the garden with a plate of food.
Thrilled with the threadbare towels and challenging entrance. It's like they read my mind and knew exactly what I wanted for my stay.

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, nestled in a jungle setting. Enjoyed the peacefulness, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Helpful staff provided great advice on transportation options. Breakfast was decent and the service was friendly.
Location is a few minutes away from the city center, requiring a tuk tuk ride. Not a major issue as it offers a quiet and peaceful escape from the touristy area.

Free bikes: Exploring Ella on the complimentary bikes was a breeze, like riding on a cloud through the lush green hills.
Shower temperature: Tricky to adjust, required fine-tuning skills.
